Deploying my barbering techniques and my eye for perfection and detail when working with shorter hair. I use my understanding and ability to identify the natural growth patterns of your hair from the scalp. And I factor in your unique head shape and hair texture when I work with short hair.
HAIR PAINTING AND BALAYAGE

A coloring technique requiring special training and expertise that mimics brush strokes of color to the hair. One that achieves an effortless and seamless blend of highlights and/or lowlights. This process allows for a soft gradience between colors. This is ideal for a smooth , soft grow out. A melting effect that can be subtle or bold.
Highlighting

All Highlighting techniques are personalized for the individuality of each client's hair goals. Each highlighting service is specialized with cutting edge techniques that are tailored to achieve the target color and tone through expert consultation.
*Full Highlight- consisting of the entire head, including the nape of neck. This is recommended for individuals looking for an overall brighter color, 1-2 times a year.
*Partial Highlight- consisting of a face frame, crown of the head and highlighting the sides from ear to ear, leaving out the nape of the neck.
Coloring

-Single Process Color
An all over color process from roots to ends. Grey coverage or Double Process Blondes require a maintenance schedule of 4-6 or 6-8 weeks depending on the clients individual color needs. A Gloss add-on is also applied to the mid-shaft and ends for seamless color that protects and seals the health of the cuticle and adds extreme shine to the hair.
*Individual Gloss/Toner services available as a stand alone service.
Re-texturizing

-Smoothing Techniques
Brazilian Blowout Treatment through the use of breakthrough bonding technologies, these customizable smoothing treatments actually improve the condition of the hair by creating a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle.

Christopher

Christopher Cersosimo, a passionate, artistic perfectionist, loves both his work and his clients. He has been coloring, styling, and cutting hair for more than twenty years, first in his hometown, and now, for the past 13 years, in his destiny-city: New York.

He is a Master Goldwell Color-trained stylist, and has also trained with Bumble and Bumble in New York's Meatpacking District.

Christopher has nurtured his clients for years, many of them for decades. One long-time client says, "I see Christopher for two basic reasons. He makes me look stunning every time. And our sessions are always fabulous fun. He has the best laugh! And, seriously, people stop me on the street asking, 'Who does your hair?'"

Christopher brings to his practice a lifetime of commitment to hair styling, a connection that began when he was a little kid, playing through the fence with a neighbor-girl, yearning to touch and brush the hair of her ponies and dolls. Today, Christopher expresses the same commitment as he approaches every challenge with verve, focus, and creativity.

These days, Christopher works in a West Village salon and also sees private clients -- some famous -- and pursues freelance work as well.
